Pennies for Patients results: We submitted a check to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for $517.63 as our schoolwide donation for Pennies for Patients! We surpassed our goal of $400.00. Thank you to everyone for your contributions and help toward this worthwhile endeavor. During the month of March, we will celebrate our accomplishment with a treat for all students.
Lessons: Currently, our classroom lessons are focusing on initiative and integrity. Initiative is taking the first step to doing it on your own and integrity is doing the right thing whether or not someone is watching. We are talking about what it means to be a citizen in our classroom, school, and community.
Student Code of Conduct: We are concerned about an increase in behavior that goes against our code of conduct. If you have questions or concerns, please consult the Fremont Public Schools Elementary Handbook. The Student Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Action can be found on pages 28-29. We want all of our students to feel safe and have a positive learning environment. While we can't control behavior that happens outside of the school, if those behaviors find their way into our classrooms and have a negative impact on our students then we need to address these concerns.
